Second day, at the ongoing Ministerial Workers Meeting at Akuka Lodge in Zomba, Eastern Malawi Conference (EMC) officially unveiled its bold 5‑Year Strategic Plan. The plan focuses on 7 Strategic Areas of Focus to drive the conference forward into 2026 and beyond. EMC President Dr. Pastor Sanned Lubani led the launch, highlighting the plan as a roadmap for growth and impact in the districts of Blantyre East, Chiradzulu, Zomba, Mangochi, Machinga and Balaka. The strategic areas include Spiritual formation and evangelism, Community engagement and visibility, Leadership and capacity building, Infrastructure and mobility development, Technology and digital transformation, Financial sustainability and resource management, and Stewardship development. These pillars will guide EMC’s 29 Pastoral Districts and 652 churches in strengthening ministries, empowering leaders, and expanding community outreach during the 3‑day meeting that runs till tomorrow, Friday. Pastors and participants at the meeting are excited about the plan’s potential to transform EMC’s work.
