𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗜
Eastern Malawi Conference (EMC) has a new Ministerial, Publishing, and Music Director, as Pastor Masauko Samudeni was elected to the position at the EMC Year-End EXCOM Meeting held yesterday at Wadonga Lodge, Old Naisi in Zomba. This EXCOM Meeting marked a significant milestone – one year since EMC was launched following the realignment of South Malawi Conference into three conferences in December 2024.
Pastor Samudeni’s appointment comes after serving as the District Pastor for Balaka, covering 53 churches. His experience in various roles, including Literature Evangelism, Associate Publishing Director, and South Malawi Conference Publishing Director, makes him a suitable candidate for the position. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Malawi Adventist University, Lakeview Campus.
The decision to divide the positions was welcomed by both EMC President Pastor Dr. Sanned Lubani and Pastor Benson L. Mbewe, who will now focus on the Stewardship Directorate, a vital post in the SDA Church. Pastor Mbewe had been holding the Ministerial, Publishing, and Music positions, in addition to Stewardship.
